Shell is coated with double Teflon layer to prevent abrasion related wear. Four spring steel stays support ankle and prevent heel release. Circumferential strap stabilizes brace to prevent unwanted slippage. Non-stretch straps imitate heel lock technique used in taping. Brace is right/left universal.
